Geocentric was the first theory that came out in the scientific method. The Heilocentrism theory came out of the scientific revolution.The heilocentrism is right because the earth is not in the center of the universe. The sun is the galileo trial which was that he had to say he was wrong or else they would have to kill him. He believed in his ideas and the church believed in the bible thats why they didn't like him.
Heliocentric, the geocentric explanation of the solar system is that the Earth was the center of everything, and everything else revolves around it. Back in the day, this idea was popular among the Greeks and the Chinese. Philosophers also thought that the stars, sun, and planets circled the Earth in a perfectly circle motion.

Nicoluas Copernicus mathematically proved the heliocentrism explanation of the solar system right. Johaness Kepler helped expand this idea. Heliocentrism was developed by the scientific revolution.Lots Of Religions are strongly against this theory becuase it conflicted with their religion. Today, almost everyone accepts this theory.
